How extended have you been backpacking and what's the longest faux pas you've enchanted?
About 40 years. In 1994, my associate and I did 47 miles on the Continental Separate Lag behind in Montana. Last year, we did 40 in Glacier Citizen Commons.
When did you make happen that you needed to degrade the amount of Dialect heft that you carried in your backpack?
When my chum and I were struggling under our ill-mannered 60 lb. packs on the Continental Split up Stream in 1994. On the last day, while we cooked breakfast with our supplies spread over about three and a half acres, Geertje François, a Belgian who was hiking from Alaska to South America with less than 25 lb. on his back dropped by our camp-site to stop in. We grilled him (but not for breakfast) and have kept in use ever since. He never took his store b quit off the three hours we talked. My fellow-countryman and I had ditched our packs every break we had during those five days. We took notes on the backs of our maps and I keep those notes to this day.
