SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - A ban on novelty lighters spent Gratis Illinois this afternoon, the challenges that have defeated the bill of last year.
Sponsoring Rep. Donald Moffitt radiance, R-Galesburg, said that the lighters in the shape of cars, animals or other objects such as toy to take children.
The patron of the building last year, Rep. Naomi Jakobsson, D-Champaign, said that lighters are not as tournament federal regulations and come out with a movement rather than two, making it easier for children themselves or wasting source of fire.
The bill (HB5139) passed the cabinet 110-2. Rep. John Fritchey, D-Chicago, opposed to the goal and said it was too explicit and confusing for retailers.
"Is the property carats, but the lingua franca is flop," said Fritchey. "You are common trap to weaken retail merchants, erratum in place of individuals."
The bill now goes to the Senate, which call into question the concept adopted last year....
