January 5th, 2011 - Los Alamitos, CA - The new "Principal Set" jacket collection from Roland Sands Design combines form with functionality and style. Think classic lines, with subtle features to remodel it uniquely RSD. With forward rotated, pre-curved sleeves, adjustable waistband and in partnership directly gussets for mobility the Hesher is a rider's jacket, with reinforced doubled-layer elbows and heavy duck fabric bringing a adept dose of protection.
With a water repellent finish, the choice of crucial cotton canvas makes sense, says Sands. "Everybody has a portrayal of the black leather jacket, so we brought heavy duck canvas into the mix. It works as practicable riding gear, or perfect as an everyday jacket," he adds.
Of course plenitude of people will insist on leather, so RSD has those traditionalists covered, too. "The leather we use for our jackets is all A-mark, with natural distressing to ensure the perfect 'broken in' feel," explains Sands. Add to that armor-all set pockets, full adjustability and performance riding fit, the dirt track-styled "Assignment" and the neoclassic "Rocker" have you covered. Comprised of four styles and three colors in all, the Greatest Set is ready to rock in the New Year.
