The packages succeed several times every NFL season. This season, they were delivered, and placed at the foot of Spencer Paysinger's locker in the New York Giants locker extent. And when Paysinger sees the return address he knows he's going to get a difficult time from teammates.
But also, he loves the packages.
" Chip Kelly and the systematization, they actually send care packages every now and then to the players who are on active rosters," Paysinger said. "A few weeks ago I got an Oregon sweatshirt with my college numbers on it. Just a 'Thank you,' for what we've done for the program and how we carry ourselves in the league."
Even as the Giants exhibit team-issued Nike shoes, Paysinger, a back-up linebacker who plays on three noteworthy teams units, said his teammates believe he gets gala gear because of the Oregon-Nike tie.
