After playing a r in the recent "Spider-Island" story arc in The Amazing Spider-Man , the Spidey clone named Kaine has Nautical port New York City and ended up in Houston, looking for redemption and verdict a whole heap of trouble in the new Marvel Comics series Scarlet Spider .

Debuting in comic shops and digitally today, the tome written by Christopher Yost and illustrated by Ryan Stegman showcases Kaine, a former supervillain who first appeared as a clone of Peter Parker in the mid-1990s. On the way to Mexico in the bonus-sized first issue, he stops in Houston and happens upon a human-trafficking confederation, saving a young girl named Aracely but also finding a vindication to stick around.

Kaine has done some contemptible things in his life, and now he wants to make amends under the moniker once entranced by a fellow clone, Scarlet Spider.
