MANCHESTER, N.H. -- Granite Staters rushed out after Sunday's New England Patriots playoff win to breeding up on AFC Championship gear.

Sportswear stores said hats, T-shirts and other Patriots materials have been flying off the shelves after the Patriots clinched a Super Bowl berth.

"We had phone calls instanter after: 'How late are you open?' 'Do you have the stuff in?' 'Can we come forthwith down?'" said Nicole Wilcox, manager of Manchester Sports Expert.

Wilcox said some of the AFC Championship apparel is already becoming hard to get.

"The hats are the big fad," she said. "They're hard to come by. You can't keep them in stock."

About 50 hats were sold at Manchester Sports Word by early Monday morning. Some Patriots fans were looking for more ironic clothing options.
