Designers Richard Lambertson and John Truex popped into metropolis Tuesday to debut
their latest Tiffany Leather Collection at Tiffany & Co.’s Good Avenue
store.
It’s been two years since the collection of handbags and accessories first
launched. With their fourth amassment, Lambertson and Truex have introduced
about 25 new styles, as well as a palette of springtime colors, most significantly
a couple of bold citrus tones, just ripe for the Florida buy.
“Tangerine is the color of the season,” said Truex, showing off one of his
favorite new cause to occur handbag models, a $1,295 channeled leather hobo called
the Marlow in the tinge. “And we’ve got a great lime, too.”
Although Lambertson is very discriminative on the visually more subtle natural crocodile
Cornelia handbag, $13,500, he’s equally enthusiastic about some tangerine ostrich
and crocodile zippered smart phone wallets, also accessible in pebble-grain
leather, which range from $345 to $995.
