The new unis no longer have "Minnesota" across the case, but instead will include the Block M at the base of the neckline. I like this change-over, as college football teams shouldn't have to identify themselves (not a shot at Michigan Majestic and Indiana, which have the name on their jerseys, but just a personal preference).

The font tolerant of for jersey numbers and other text comes from the jerseys Minnesota players wore during their native championship season in 1940. Nice touch.

On the gold jerseys, "Minnesota" moves to the back in locus of players' last names. The maroon and white jerseys both will keep players' names on the back.

The numbers no longer have a color well turned out, and piping has been removed from the uniform pants. A Block "M" has been added to the hip of the pants.

Jersey numbering and lettering on the milk-white and gold jerseys is printed with a brick pattern taken straight away from a wall at Memorial Stadium, where Minnesota used to play. The numbering and lettering on the isolate jerseys doesn't feature the brick pattern.
