Geoffrey Campbell is the founder of the New England End Zone Militia, the troop of 24-30 Revolutionary War re-enactors who stand in either end zone during Patriot and Rebellion home games. Since 1996, three generations of the Campbell family have been a part of the fun.

A captain in the Massachusetts 9th Organize re-enactor group, Campbell said the group started attending the Revs’ games and grew to be a simplified part of their game-day presentation.

“We did it back in 1996 for the Revolution home games. We chiefly were around the ticket area, welcoming fans to the old stadium” Campbell explained. “We didn’t end up doing it the next year, and the fans were wondering what happened to us, so we were asked to awaken back.”

The Militia expanded a couple of years later to include Nationalist games and has also been a staple at Red Sox games on Patriots Day and part of the NHL’s Winter Deathless. A trained actor, Campbell has also been a part of four commercials over the years.
